About the guide

What you need to know about applying for Maltese residence through the Malta Global Residence Programme (MGRP).

The Malta Global Residence Programme (MGRP) was introduced in 2013 and is suitable for individuals who want to relocate to Malta and are not a citizen of an EU Member State, EEA or Switzerland (ie. it is only open to ‘third country’ nationals). This permit requires you invest a minimum sum in real estate or in a minimum value 12-month rental contract.
