Private Client Manager
Shajid joined Blevins Franks as a Private Client Manager in 2025, having most recently worked at St. James’s Place, the UK’s largest wealth manager. His career in financial services began in 2018, when he supported expatriates in Brussels, before broadening his experience with FX and investment product providers. This background has given him exposure to a wide range of client needs and confirmed that his strengths and long-term focus lie in wealth management, where he provides practical, well-rounded advice tailored to each individual client.
Shajid holds a BSc in mathematics, which underpins his strong problem-solving skills and pragmatic approach to complex scenarios. Professionally, Shajid is a member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII), having achieved his Level 4 Diploma, and is now working towards Level 6 and Chartered status.
In his role at Blevins Franks, Shajid’s focus is on helping clients bring structure, clarity, and confidence to their financial affairs, whether it is planning for retirement, intentions to move outside of the UK, returning to the UK, managing investments, or navigating more complex planning requirements. Client outcomes are central to his work, and his intentions are to take away the complexities of financial planning so clients can concentrate on the things in life that are more important to them.
Outside of work, Shajid is a huge football fan and is still (patiently) waiting for his football debut with England, though for now he is sticking to Sunday league football. He enjoys long-distance running, experimenting with recipes from around the world, especially desserts, and keeping fit through regular gym sessions and badminton. He is also a self-proclaimed devotee Christopher Nolan fan and theatre enthusiast.
