Private Client Manager
Jean joined Blevins Franks in February 2026, bringing with him 25 years of UK wealth management experience. He is a Private Client Manager, based at our office in Valbonne, France.
Jean helps private clients who have a connection to the UK. They are already resident in France or plan to move there and are working professionals or retired. Jean provides them with personalised tax and wealth management solutions. He is supported by the local team as well as our in-house specialists in tax, pensions and investment research in our London office.
Starting his career in 2000 at NatWest Private Banking in Bristol, Jean moved to Coutts & Co in London in 2004. He worked in their International Client Group, reaching the position of Director, Wealth Manager, before being headhunted by Société Générale Kleinwort Hambros as a Senior Private Banker in 2023. He worked in their International Team before, leaving them in October 2025 following the takeover of Union Bancaire Privée.
A UK-regulated financial adviser since 2006, Jean has achieved Chartered Wealth Manager status and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI). He also holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Keele and a master’s degree in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick. He attended the London School of Economics International Summer School in Economics and the University of Cambridge Judge Business School’s Adviser Training Programme.
Jean is a native of Bordeaux and has extensive experience in the French market. He has published articles in the French wealth publication Gestion de Fortune. He has also a keen interest in UK/French family law and tax.
Jean is an adviser for Blevins Franks Wealth Management Limited (BFWML), which is registered with the Malta Financial Services Authority and a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI).
