Heather graduated from the University of Leicester in 1994 with a degree in German and European Business Studies. During her studies, she spent considerable time between the UK and Germany, and following graduation she began her career in Luxembourg, working in the cross-border life assurance sector while living in Germany.
Over the next 20 years in Luxembourg, Heather developed significant expertise in structuring financial planning solutions for high-net-worth individuals. She worked closely with lawyers, private banks and specialist advisers across Europe and internationally, gaining extensive experience in complex cross-border planning.
Heather joined Blevins Franks in 2014 and is now based in the UK. She is responsible for developing and evolving the firm’s client proposition, ensuring it remains aligned with clients’ needs and the changing financial and regulatory landscape. With her strong knowledge of UK–EU cross-border matters, she supports advisers on more complex cases, often working alongside clients’ existing professional advisers to deliver coordinated planning solutions.
