Chief Executive
‘Clients first, company second, self third’. James is a modern CEO but firmly grounded in the old City mantra.
He first qualified as an adviser at Equitable Life in 1999 and moved to be a Private Banker with Coutts. He co-founded Partners Wealth Management (PWM) in 2004 and led it to become recognised as one of the leading advisory firms in the UK.
In 2021, after successfully combining Partners Wealth to become the independent arm of 7IM, James led integrating and evolving a number of 7IM acquisitions, notably Turcan Connell, 7IM Private Clients and Eastcote Wealth Management.
James is a passionate believer in the importance of advice-led wealth management, with person-to-person service backed up by modern technology. His vision for Blevins Franks is that the business helps UK individuals feel as though they have a complete understanding, control and security in their finances, whether they are in Britain or with the added dimension of living in Europe.
James is a graduate of the Meyler Campbell Mastered programme and a qualified Executive Coach.
Outside work, James is on the Court of the Worshipful Company of Cutlers. He has a passion for sport, still actively playing tennis, cricket, hockey, padel, golf, cycling and skiing. The latter too often in combination with his passion for wine.
