Based in our London office, our Tax Advisory Service offers vast technical knowledge of the fiscal issues affecting UK nationals living or planning to live abroad. As well as knowledge of UK taxation, the team includes specialists in Spanish, French, Portuguese, Cypriot and Maltese taxes. Their recommendations take into account the tax implications in both the UK and our clients’ country of residence, as well as the interaction between them.

We have eight offices, from the South East to the North West, that provide support across the whole of France and two offices that provide support across the whole of mainland Portugal as well as the Madeira islands.

With origins dating back centuries in England and Wales, trusts are a well-established way to manage and pass on money and assets such as property, land and investments. Today, trusts are commonly used for wealth protection and in estate planning to ensure assets are passed down generations in a secure, fair and tax-efficient manner. Through Blevins Franks Trustees Limited, we provide a range of trustee and corporate services for UK residents and expatriates.

The Blevins Franks office in Mriehel is also our operations hub, where our administration, legal and operations teams are based.

Our Paphos office provides tax and financial planning to expatriates across the Republic of Cyprus, including Britons living in or moving to Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca and Nicosia.

The business is owned by our management and locally-based Partners. As the need for a constant source of advice has grown, so has the size and scale of our business, and the range of specialist services we provide.

We now operate 20 offices across southern Europe, as well as in the UK, and our client base continues to grow. The head office is in London, with our operations hub in Malta, and regional offices across Spain, France, Portugal, Cyprus and Monaco.

Blevins Franks acquired Siddalls France (Siddalls) from IFG Group PLC. The move signalled a significant development in Blevins Franks’ growth plans and ensured an unrivalled combination of experience and expertise for UK nationals living in France who require specialist advice in the face of constant legal and fiscal changes in France and the UK.

From our earliest days, Partners and staff at Blevins Franks have been involved in charitable fundraising, be it running team marathons in France, selling home baking in Malta, or supporting golf events in Spain. More recently we decided it was time for a more organised approach, and launched The Blevins Franks Charitable Foundation – a UK registered charity with a committee made up of employees from across our European operations. We aim to make a difference to those less fortunate by making small local donations in the territories where we operate, supporting causes like work with disadvantaged children, vulnerable adults, homelessness prevention, animal rescue and anti-bullying projects.

Bill Blevins had a great personality and presence and with David Franks did a lot to build the success of Blevins Franks.

Blevins Franks’ European Emigration Advisory Service has produced a series of visa and residency permit guides. They are designed to provide an overview of those visa and residency permits relevant to UK nationals who are moving to France, Spain, Portugal, Malta or Cyprus to retire and live off their pensions and investments.
