Nigel Green

Managing Director and Group Chief Operating Officer

Nigel started off his career in Financial Services in the mid-1970s, where he joined the consortium bank – European Banking Company. After 15 years with EBC in various trading roles he joined Barclays, where he was the link between its Investment Bank BZW and other European financial institutions.

In 1992 Nigel was approached by Coutts & Co, where he conducted an exhaustive review of the client/product interface for the bank’s International Private Banking areas. He also served on the bank’s Group Investment Strategy, Risk, Treasury and General Business Committees and had global responsibility for Foreign Exchange and Fixed Income Asset Classes.

In 1997 Nigel was promoted to Head of Investment Advisory and Execution Services UK, where he took responsibility for the development and operational management of all financial market product areas and investment advisory business within the bank.

In 2005 he joined Julius Baer, the Swiss Private Bank as CEO of their London operations, allied to having Chief Investment Officer responsibility for wealth and investment management products and services.

Nigel joined Blevins Franks as Chief Operating Officer in 2012 and was appointed to the board in 2016.
