Ismael joined Blevins Franks as a Private Client Manager in early 2024, bringing a wealth of experience from his years advising city professionals in Canary Wharf. He approaches financial planning from both a technical and a personal perspective, understanding that every individual’s goals and circumstances are unique. By working closely alongside his clients, he ensures their goals and objectives are at the centre of his advice.

After attaining a First-Class Honours Degree in Accountancy and Finance, Ismael quickly achieved his Financial Adviser qualifications through the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). He also holds the status of Chartered Financial Planner, which is widely accepted as the ‘gold standard’ within the profession.

Since relocating to Portugal and joining the team in Loulé, Ismael has developed an in-depth understanding of the Portuguese tax system and its interaction with UK legislation and regulations. He works closely with the local Partners and the wider Portuguese team, and is further supported by our in-house tax advisers, pensions, investments, and client services specialists based in London and Malta.

In his spare time, Ismael enjoys exploring the Algarve’s beaches, sampling Portugal’s diverse cuisine, and keeping fit.
