Head of Compliance

Amanda graduated in law (LL.D.) from the University of Malta in 2006, two years after completing a Diploma of Notary Public (Dip. Not. Pub.) and a Bachelor of Arts in Legal & Humanistic Studies (European Studies). During her student years she was involved in student politics and regularly worked at schools specialised in teaching English as a foreign language, with special focus on teaching business English. This led her to work with banks and banking foundations in Verona, Italy, where she pursued her final year of the LL.D. in 2005/06.

Amanda joined Blevins Franks in 2006 as a Compliance and Investment Officer, further joining the Senior Management team in 2013. Having built in-depth knowledge of Blevins Franks’ products and the needs of our providers, Amanda moved into the role of Head of Onboarding in July 2019 and later became Head of Compliance and Client Onboarding. In February 2023, Amanda shifted her focus solely to Compliance and is now responsible for the Group’s Compliance Function.
