The Blevins Franks Charitable Foundation

Blevins Franks Charitable Foundation

Over the past fifty years, Blevins Franks Partners and staff have been regularly involved in charitable fundraising activities. Recently, this has included running team marathons in France, the Tough Mudder Challenge in the UK (insert photo), selling home baking in Malta and organising quizzes in Cyprus, among others.

Given the continuing growth of our organisation throughout Europe, Blevins Franks chose to adopt a more co-ordinated approach to fundraising, and this culminated in the launch of The Blevins Franks Charitable Foundation in early 2017.

How the Foundation Works

The Foundation is run by a Committee made up of employees from across our operations. This team meets quarterly to review donation nominations received from the rest of the business and share experiences and ideas for fundraising. Before funds are distributed, all nominations are assessed by the Trustees, who oversee the Foundation to ensure it meets grant guidelines and achieves its aims.

The Blevins Franks Charitable Foundation is funded predominantly through employee contributions, donations from our business partners and localised fundraising activities. As a business, Blevins Franks has generously agreed to match any funds raised through staff donations and fundraising events.

Who do we help?

The Foundation is proud to help causes that support the communities in which Blevins Franks operate. Our grants fund work with disadvantaged children, vulnerable adults, homelessness prevention, animal rescue, anti-bullying projects, lifesaving medical treatment, foodbanks and community canteens among others, promoting positive mental health, supporting children and adults with disabilities, etc.

We are passionate about supporting smaller causes where our donation will make a real difference and lead to a tangible outcome.

As at January 2025, the Foundation has supported 435 causes since its creation and donated a total of €363,500. In addition, the Committee members have spent 715 hours volunteering.

Blevins Franks has been providing specialist financial advice to British expatriates across Europe for 50 years. Our expertise covers tax, estate planning, pensions and investment management to offer a genuinely holistic approach to financial planning.
