Rupert has over 35 years’ experience in the financial services industry, 30 of them working in France. Before moving to France, Rupert worked for NatWest Bank who transferred him to France in 1986, where he worked in Bordeaux, Toulouse and Paris.

In 1996, Rupert decided to specialise in advising the British community in France and started the French operation of Siddalls in Bordeaux. Siddalls France became part of the Blevins Franks Group in 2014 to become Blevins Franks France, where Rupert continues to head up the Bordeaux office.

Rupert holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Kedge Business School in Marseille, specialised in financial planning. As to be expected after a language degree and 30 years of living in France, Rupert is bilingual and bicultural.

Rupert’s office in Bordeaux is made up of five authorised advisers and five support staff. Rupert and his team are further supported by a qualified team of Client Services Officers based in Malta and specialist tax advisers in London.
