Joshua Mortimore joined Blevins Franks as an Associate Private Client Manager in our local office of Bordeaux in 2023. He brings a wealth of experience to the table, having spent most of his career in the City of London, assisting high-net-worth individuals with their holistic financial planning needs. Drawing on this background, Joshua is now focused on providing a bespoke financial planning service to his clients throughout France.

A respected member of the CII (Chartered Insurance Institute), Joshua holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (level 4) and Certificate in Discretionary Investment Management (level 4). These qualifications ensure Joshua has the appropriate level of technical knowledge to support his clients. Prior to joining the wealth management industry, Joshua studied at University College London (UCL), obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography.

Joshua maintains a keen interest in sustainable and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investment, which developed during his previous employment at a firm specialising in sustainable wealth management. Later in his career, Joshua worked for the high-net-worth financial planning division of a large UK investment manager. In this capacity, he successfully navigated intricate tax strategies, trust planning and private equity investments as part of his daily responsibilities.

Moving to France in early 2023, Joshua now resides in the cosmopolitan city of Bordeaux. Via frequent visits to France throughout his life, Joshua has augmented a strong affinity for French culture, cuisine and language. He is particularly fond of the South West coastal region as a result of family holidays during his younger years. The Bay of Biscay and the Pyrenees allow Joshua convenient access to many of his favourite pastimes. He is naturally looking forward to making the most of Bordeaux’s idyllic positioning in the coming years.
