When Ian joined Blevins Franks in 2013, he brought with him 22 years of experience in financial services. Starting at Lloyds Bank in his home county of Hampshire in 1991, he spent five years working as a financial adviser in bank branches before moving to the wealth management division of Lloyds Private Banking. From there he spent three years in the international private banking team in Guernsey, followed by time in Monaco and Geneva.

When Lloyds asked Ian to return to the UK in 2012, he decided to stay in mainland Europe and joined Blevins Franks in France.

Ian holds the Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA) as well as the full UK Financial Planning Certificate.

As part of the Blevins Franks’ Bergerac office, Ian works closely with the Partners in South West France. As a Private Client Manager, Ian looks after the interests of existing clients, travelling extensively around the region to suit their needs. He has an ongoing relationship with clients, reviewing their investments periodically to ensure they remain suitably invested, even when circumstances change.

Ian is an adviser for Blevins Franks Wealth Management Limited (BFWML) which is registered with the Malta Financial Services Authority. He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
