David was educated in Epsom, England, and in Canada, at the University of New Brunswick and Dalhousie University. Following university, he joined Merrill Lynch Royal Securities and qualified with the Canadian Securities Institute and US Exchanges. He is also a past member of the Toronto Real Estate Board.

David holds the Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA) and is a member of the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF).

In 1995, David returned to the UK to work for a national firm of independent financial advisers. He joined Blevins Franks in 2000, initially opening an office at the Sotogrande Marina before relocating to Estepona. He is now based at our larger regional office in Marbella, where he is supported by our Private Client Manager Alfonso Sanz Lucia and the rest of our Marbella team.

David’s extensive experience in international finance and financial planning places him in a unique position to provide a personalised ‘private office’ experience to high net worth individuals and wealthy families across borders.

David is an adviser for Blevins Franks Wealth Management Limited (BFWML) which is registered with the Malta Financial Services Authority. He is a member of the London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF).
