Our Partners and Associate Partners focus on advising new clients in France, Spain, Portugal, Cyprus and Malta and helping to develop our growing client base. Suitable candidates must be at least Level 4 (Diploma) qualified or international equivalent, preferably a Chartered Financial Planner, or working toward it.

Main Purpose of Partner Role

Provide tax-driven strategic financial planning advice to British expatriates retired in continental Europe. Develop a growing client base by attracting new clients and providing the initial tax-led financial planning advice. Relocation to one of our core countries in Europe will be necessary.

What Blevins Franks offers

  • The in-house Tax Advisory Service (TAS) supports Partners by providing highly specialised tax advice for British expatriates, considering both their country of residence and the UK.
  • Private Client Managers (PCMs) provide regular and ongoing advice and service to clients in the local offices. This enables Partners and Associate Partners to concentrate on generating more high-quality business.
  • Marketing support: relevant news articles and adverts published in expatriate newspapers, magazines, websites, and social media, with regular radio broadcasts in some regions. Client/prospect seminars are typically run each Spring and Autumn in each location to generate local interest.
  • Lead generation will be provided for Partners and Associate Partners, after completion of the initial training programme.
  • Exclusive client proposition for each country, working together with a variety of select product providers and high-quality names in investment management.
  • Offices in each country provide paraplanning services, including extensive client reports and administration support.

  • Experienced, with a track record of achievement in providing high-quality financial planning to UK nationals

  • Willing to work within the ‘retired’ British demographic.
  • Qualified to at least UK Level 4 (diploma) or international equivalent
  • Technically proficient: must have the ability to learn, comprehend, and advise high-net-worth individuals on tax-efficient investment structures.
  • A good reputation within financial services
  • Able to illustrate a record of competence, capability, and financial soundness.
  • Knowledgeable, with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Need to be comfortable in breaking new ground;
  • Partners and Associate Partners are expected to generate referrals and to constantly source new clients.
  • Act swiftly when following up on all supplied leads.
  • Complete all internal procedures and ensure their interactions with potential and existing clients are properly documented.
