Michael Pace Balzan - Finance & Operations Director
Michael was born in 1978 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2000. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and Malta and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
In 1996 Michael joined Price Waterhouse (renamed PricewaterhouseCoopers) and rose to Assistant Manager responsible for audits, which is where he met Blevins Franks. He spent six months specialising on audits in the financial services sector in Jersey, Channel Islands.
In 2004 he was appointed Finance Manager of a financial services company specialising in foreign exchange business.
He left to join Blevins Franks in 2005 and has managed a division of the accountancy practice, and the trust and corporate services department. He is now responsible for the finance function and assisting in the day to day management of the business.
Michael is married to Lara who is also a Chartered Accountant in Malta, and they have two children.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys a good movie, jogging and watching football.
