Brett Hanson - Partner

Brett graduated from university in 1997 with an LL.B. (Hons) in law. Prior to being made a Partner, Brett was the senior manager of the Blevins Franks’ administration office in Malta. He moved to Javea in February 2002 in order to work with a Senior Partner to the Firm in providing expert investment and tax advice to clients in the northern Costa Blanca region.

On 1st January 2009 Blevins Franks appointed Brett Hanson as its adviser for the Costa Brava, meeting the investment, tax and general financial planning needs of expatriates living in the region.

Brett is a fully qualified and experienced adviser, having obtained all three examination passes of the UK Financial Planning Certificate which is mandatory for all financial advisers in the UK. Brett is authorised and regulated in the UK by the Financial Services Authority and in Spain through the EU Insurance Mediation Directive.

His interests include keeping fit, scuba diving and travelling.

Brett is authorised by the UK Financial Services Authority, individual reference number BXH01305. Blevins Franks Financial Management Limited is also authorised to give advice in Spain.
